We exist to plug young adults (18-25ish) into a community where we can grow in our faith together and Make Known the Greatness of God at school, at work, in our families, amongst our friends, and within our other circles of influence.

We focus on Loving Christ, Living Community and Serving Globally...

Loving Christ
Our number one core value is Jesus. We value Him as our Lord and Saviour. If everything we do does not point back to Christ, then our work is in vain. It is through Him alone that we have new life, and this life reflects the Greatness of God. “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God... For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” (Colossians 3:1,3-4). At West London Alliance Young Adults we strive to live lives of integrity that even up close reflect the Greatness of God.

Living Community
There is great power in living in community with one another. God did not intend for us to live this life alone. He created us to walk alongside one another and encourage each other to make known His Greatness. Hebrews 10:24,25 says “let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another...”. At West London Alliance Young Adults we strive to be a place where you can be encouraged and spurred on towards love and good deeds, which in turn helps us Make Known the Greatness of God.

Serving Globally
Jesus said, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. ‘Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’" (Matthew 28:18-20). At West London Alliance Young Adults we strive to Make Known the Greatness of God by sharing in the worldwide work of God by making disciples right here in our community and across the world.

From May 8th to 22nd a team of 8 young adults will be heading to Mexico for 14 days to partner with Hope and Ricahrd Reichert in their church planting mission.  Visit http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=116435221714667 for prayer requests and updates on the trip!

WHAT WE DO:

Bible Study
Most Sunday nights at 7:00pm we meet at the church to discuss Sunday mornings’ sermons or to work through a book of the Bible. This is an opportunity to encourage one another and pray through the things we are learning.

Retreats
In September and December we get away for a weekend to learn more about who God is and to serve each other and those around us.

Friday Night Socials
Once a month we get together on a Friday night to have some fun! Check out the schedule for dates and what we are doing.

Soup & Sandwich Luncheons
On three Sundays throughout the year we get together after church on Sunday for Soup & Sandwiches as well as hear from a guest speaker who will talk about serving globally.

Service Opportunities
Once a month on a Thursday night, and sometimes on Saturdays, we will have the opportunity to serve in our church and the community around us.

Prayer & Worship Nights
In November and February we get together on a Sunday night for a night of prayer and worship.
