Our Staff

Jude has been WLA's Lead Pastor since 2017. Jude is happily married to his wife Nicole and has been since 1995. Jude and Nicole have five beautiful children: Ena, Adele, Mara, Judah and Arwen.

Lyall Mix Associate Pastor

Lyall began his work as our Associate Pastor in 1997. He and his wife Julie have three adult children; Austin, Evan and Faith. Lyall and Julie are both graduates of Canadian Bible College in Regina which is now known as Ambrose University in Calgary, Alberta.

Dave De Smit Director of Worship Arts

Dave was born and raised in London, Ontario. He graduated from Redeemer University College in 2003. After working in sales, and playing drums in a band called Article One for more than five years, he pursued the call into youth ministry and began working at West London Alliance in July of 2011.

Jon Magwood Director of Student Ministries

Jonathan grew up attending West London Alliance with his family. He became a follower of Jesus as a child and was baptized on his 16th birthday. He and his wife Amy met at Moody Bible Institute and got married during the summer of 2019.

Rand Luka Director of Arabic Fellowship

Rand was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq. He moved to Canada in 2008 with his wife, Enas, and two children, Lana and Matthew, and became a part of the WLA family in 2012. Rand has been leading the Arabic Fellowship at WLA since 2015 as a lay pastor.

Daniel Kwong Chinese Fellowship Pastor

Daniel is married to his wife Evelyn. They have two children: Samuel and Ingrid. Daniel graduated from Canadian Theological Seminary (Ambrose) and Fuller Seminary.

Judith Gaunt Director of Sunday Morning Children's Ministries

Judith and her husband Steve live just outside London with their four children, Andrew, Christine, Adam and Caleb. She has attended WLA for more than 20 years and has taught in the Children’s Ministry program for close to 15 of those them.

Kim Seabrook Office Manager

Kim is a London girl. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Administrative and Commercial Studies degree. She joined West London's Staff as Office Manager on January 1, 2012, after many years of administrative experience in the banking and financial services industries.

Rick Walton Director of Biblical Counselling

Rick is a certified Biblical Counsellor through ABC, and serves as the Director of Biblical Counselling for True North Soul Care at West London Alliance Church. Rick is married to his best friend, Teresa. They have raised two children they love very much, and are proud to be grandparents. Rick enjoys coffee shops with friends and family, good books and courses to keep him learning, and CrossFit to help keep physically healthy and connected to the community.

Graham Buchanan Director of Community Life

Graham oversees our local community impact and works to create community inside the church.
