Firstly, we give thanks to God for His love and mercy on us and the continual love and support from the WLA family. We as a Chinese fellowship have been so excited to be a part of this church and its community. Especially with the youth and children ministries to guide our future generations to draw closer to the Lord. We have been able to build new friendships with brothers and sisters at WLA, and are so blessed to have that opportunity.
In the Chinese fellowship we have 2 dialect services and prayer meetings, Mandarin and Cantonese. In the Chinese fellowship, we use systematic theology to equip our brothers and sisters and greatly encourage them to spread the Gospel. We have joined Pastor Lyall's senior ministries and have an outreach students ministry at UWO. This January, we started a discipleship training.
Originally, the Chinese fellowship had planned to have outreach summer BBQ's. But due to Covid-19, they will be postponed. Prior, we've had our services by live streaming. Now, we have in person services and live streams (Mandarin 9:30AM and Cantonese 11AM). In this time, we've been using technological ways to keep in touch with brothers and sisters. Even some counselling meetings are held at homes.
We are continually grateful to be a part of the WLA family. The Chinese fellowship needs prayer support, especially in this time. Nevertheless we are so thankful for the support of WLA and its staff. Thank you.
For anyone who doesn't know, in September 2019, the London Chinese Alliance Church joined our congregation at WLA. It has been a blessing to worship together as brothers and sisters in Christ with the Chinese Fellowship. As Pastor Daniel mentioned, please keep the Chinese Fellowship in your prayers.
