More Resources for you

Hello West London,

Jo-Anne again, with some library-ish things for you today. Here's some more fun stuff.

  1. Did you miss the Worldwide Good Friday Worldwide worship service with Chris Tomlin and Max Lucado? Don’t worry;  you can watch it on replay here! Yes Easter weekend is over, but don’t miss the opportunity to be blessed by the fantastic performance.
  1. Focus on the Family's April magazine is available to read online. Check it out!
  1. Have you ever listened to Liz Curtis Higgs? A best-selling author and seasoned Bible teacher, Liz Curtis Higgs serves up milk and meat, substance and style, in a highly relatable and deeply meaningful journey through the Scriptures. Each weekend, Liz will focus on a different biblical character, exploring both familiar narratives and fascinating lesser known stories.
You can listen to Word by Word in Podcasts.
  1. Heard of Draw with Rob? He is a children’s book illustrator who is giving drawing how-to's on his YouTube link every Tuesday and Thursday during the Coronavirus quarantine. Watch it yourself or compete with your kids and let me know what you make! Our favourite has been the Gregosaurus. HAPPY DRAWING!
  1. Attractions Ontario has a great YouTube channel where you can watch videos from many provincial attractions that you may or may not be aware of. Surprisingly, a fair amount of educational information here, whether for young students, or future vacation planning.
  1. BOOK REVIEW: How do you know you have made a good book purchase for a 12 year-old boy? ... he actually reads the book.

Check out the book trailer here!

The world can give children some strong messages about what it means to be strong and heroic. What does true strength look like? And how are you supposed to live up to amazing stories of heroism when you're just an ordinary guy who has yet to discover any superpowers? The answer is God --- He is your source of true power, and these stories will show how His strength equipped 11 faithful yet ordinary men to lead extraordinary lives. Read the inspiring stories of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Jackie Robinson, and Jim Elliot, to name a few, and discover that God can give you the strength to do heroic things in your own amazing life.
